Samidoh’s story inspiration for youth – DP Gachagua

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has lauded Mugithi musician Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh as an inspiration for youth.

Gachagua’s praise came after attending the musician’s function, where he launched a foundation on November 30, 2023.

The former Mathira Member of Parliament cited Samidoh’s background, history, and breakthrough in the music scene as inspiration for the young generation.

Samidoh lauded

“From a humble background to a super maestro in the music industry, the story of Samuel Muchoki, alias Samidoh, is a beautiful one.

“It is a story of resilience, hope, and an inspiration to not only budding artists but also to the youth—that they can make it in life through hard work, focus, and, of course, prayers.

“Samidoh continues to stand out and inspire us through his music, innovation, and creativity. We celebrate him and are very proud of him,” Gachagua said.

The Samidoh Fundation will seek to promote various societal initiatives that include improving the welfare of boys in the communities. To Gachagua, this is the right move by the musician.

“Last evening, it was a pleasure to join Samidoh and rejoice with him as he launched The Samidoh Foundation, whose focus is to help the vulnerable, the youth, and in particular, the boy child.

“Giving back to society is a mark of honor and the right thing to do,” he added.

Gachagua also lauded the Talanta Hela, an initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Sports, Youth Affairs, and the Arts in order to identify and grow talent.

“Through the Talanta Hela Initiative, the Ruto Administration has prioritized the establishment of the Digital Superhighway and Creative Economy for economic growth.
