Salma Hayek marked her daughter Valentina’s birthday by sharing a heartwarming montage, filled with adorable clips taken throughout her childhood.
To celebrate her little girl turning 16 on Thursday, the Oscar nominee, 57, uploaded a number of adorable home videos, which included trips to Disneyland, singing along to the Barney Theme Song and her twirling on stage during a dance recital.
‘My heart is bursting with love, pride and gratitude for the day you were born. Keep shining your beautiful light shamelessly my lovely girl, even if it blinds the fools,’ she captioned the post.
The mom-of-one captioned: ‘For those of us fortunate enough to have you in our lives, thank you for making us stronger with your courage. For filling our lives with laughter and joy with your wicked wit. For challenging us to grow with your depth. And for inspiring us with your soulfulness every day.’

Hayek’s tribute began with Valentina as a toddler adorably singing the nursery rhyme, I Love You, You Love Me.
The video continued with the performer holding her then-tot in her arms, before panning to some sweet memories, like Valentina meeting Taylor Swift at a concert and visiting her mom on set.
Among the precious images was one of the mother daughters duo sporting matching pajamas and Valentina taking a bite of some pink cotton candy while dining at Barton G.
Valentina is Salma’s only daughter with François-Henri Pinault but the French businessman has three more children from previous relationships.
Her father, the founder of Kering and owner of the Gucci brand, shares his daughter, Mathilde, 22, and son François, 25, with his first wife, Dorothée Lepère.
François-Henri also has 16-year-old son Augustin from his relationship with Linda Evangelista.

He began dating Salma in 2006 and the couple tied the knot three years later.
Last year, Valentina appeared on her first ever Vogue cover for the publication’s Mexican edition, posing for a shoot alongside her famous mother.
In an interview conducted in Spanish, Salma opened up about coming to motherhood later in life, and what she thinks about Valentina following in her Hollywood footsteps.
Meanwhile, Valentina revealed her dreams of becoming an actress and a director, but also stressed the importance of helping others, which she did through volunteering at a soup kitchen.

Both mother and daughter donned designer clothes for the photoshoot, though Valentina insisted she often wears sweats.
Still, she does benefit from her mother’s closet of designer clothes — furnished in part by dad François-Henri Pinault’s company, which owns fashion brands including Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, and Yves Saint Laurent.
‘We fight over clothes because she takes everything from my closet,’ Salma said.
‘Since she was little she never let me choose her clothes, and I always liked that,’ Salma added. ‘[And] she’s very good with makeup. I’m good at makeup, but now she teaches me.’

‘We fight over clothes because she takes everything from my closet,’ Salma admitted to the publication (seen in 2008 with Valentina)
The pair have more in common than just clothes: They also both speak Spanish, and like to do so to speak privately in public.
‘When we are with more people I like it because it is like a secret because nobody speaks Spanish, because with my dad I speak French,’ Valentina said.
What’s more, Valentina wants to follow her mom into Hollywood, first as an actress and then as a director.
The teen also talked about how important it is to be passionate about fixing world’s problems. In particular, she is moved by the problem of homelessness, ‘because I have friends who don’t have a home.’
