Ryan Garcia sparked concern among fans and fellow boxers after a disturbing video was posted to his social media accounts.
The video shows shaky footage, offering a brief glimpse of an unidentifiable man in a home that appears to belong to Garcia.
”We’ve got it, guys. RYAN GARCIA RIP B***H. 666,” it is written across the clip, “Video is exactly 666 in time. WE TOLD YOU WE WERE COMING.’ Then follows a stream of random letters.
The six-second clip was posted to the Mexican’s X and Instagram accounts, with both posts accompanied by equally alarming captions, but it is unclear whether they were shared by Garcia himself.
‘MARCH 3 SUNDAY 2024 we will cut RG’S THROAT and THROUGH HIM IN A BASKET NO ONE WILL FIND HIM BSABJANANANANANAJQKA ANAIQNANSBSNANABA A SNSNSNWKWNA S ANANSNSN SATAN IS NOW AT THE TOP. 666,” reads the message accompanying the X message.

Meanwhile, the Instagram caption features a similar collection of random words and letters with one clear phrase: “THE DEATH OF RYAN GARCIA BILL HANEY WAS RIGHT ON THAT ONE.”
The video was still up on both accounts as of Sunday evening and no comment has been made by Garcia’s representatives or the promoter of his next fight.
Garcia will fight Devin Haney on April 20.
The radio silence from Garcia’s camp and the disturbing content of the messages left many concerned about the fighter’s health.
Some fans claimed he had been hacked, while others said they were praying for the Mexican.
MMA fighter Dillon Danis wrote in the comments section of the Instagram post, “I’m paying for you to get help, the man feels bad for you.”

The reports come days after he announced he has a new girlfriend – less than two months after splitting from model ex-wife Andrea Celina.
Garcia, the former WBC interim lightweight champion, made an incredible double revelation early last month when he announced the birth of his second child with Celina and their divorce within minutes.

And following his split from Celina, Garcia has wasted no time in moving on to his next partner.
In a social media post, the 25-year-old spoke about new girlfriend Mikaela Testa – an Australian influencer with more than 400,000 followers on Instagram.
Neither Testa nor Celina have posted on social media since Garcia’s last posts.
Meanwhile, he rode a white horse and wore an all-white outfit on Thursday to arrive at the press conference in Los Angeles for his fight against Haney.
