- Teenage girl suspected of being sexually abused
A teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted on Rottnest Island, a tourist destination 30 kilometers off the coast of Western Australia.
The alleged attack took place in a toilet block on Bedford Avenue on Saturday evening, amid the arrival of tourists, including many teenagers, in the first week of the school holidays.
Another teenager is assisting police with their investigation Western Australian reported.
Officers from the sex crime squad reportedly traveled to the island from Perth on Sunday afternoon to investigate what allegedly happened to the 15-year-old.
