Rose was born on April 28, 1943, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, to Thomas and Rosella (Alt) Farrey. She grew up in Benton and attended high school there. On October 17, 1959, she married Richard “Dick” Burkholder in Benton, Wisconsin. Rose cherished her family and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Professional Career

 

Rose dedicated over 26 years of her life to managing the fruit department at Dick’s Supermarket. Her commitment and hard work made her an invaluable asset to the company. In 1998, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and professionalism.

Interests and Hobbies

Beyond her professional life, Rose had a passion for gardening and took great pride in tending to her flower beds and gardens. She also enjoyed engaging in friendly competition through card and dice games.
