Robert Irwin takes mum Terri on a mountain trek to New Zealand – with the Australia Zoo matriarch donning a very distinctive cardigan for the walk
Robert Irwin took to social media on Wednesday to share an intimate home movie of a recent family holiday to New Zealand.
Filmed in Queenstown, the lengthy You Tube video features the 19-year-old taking a bush walk with his mum, Terri.
And the 59-year-old Irwin matriarch, who is known for her quirky fashion taste, did not disappoint her followers.
Terri rocked a black cardigan, spotted with colourful planetary patches for her trip along the spectacular forest trails.
She matched the eye-popping top with blue, a baseball cap and flaming red all-weather jacket.
At one point in the video, Terri explains that her daughter Bindi, 25, grand daughter Grace, and son-in-law Chandler, 26, are having their own holiday back home in Australia.
Other scenes featured in the clip include Terri and Robert trekking through foothills surrounded by gorgeous mountain scenery.
Much of the amazing footage included in the home movie was recorded by Terri on her new camcorder, which was a gift from Robert.

It comes after Robert went ‘Instagram official’ with his girlfriend Rorie Buckey last month.
But the public announcement reportedly came after Rorie completed an Irwin-approved ‘wildlife warrior boot camp’.
Woman’s Day claims Rorie had to win over the family by having a willingness to get out into nature.

The couple recently went on crocodile research trip together, where they uncovered ‘critical data’ for the Wildlife Warriors’ Worldwide foundation.
Apparently the Irwin’s have since been impressed by Rorie’s dedication to Australian wildlife.
An insider claimed Rorie was ‘determined to not let Robert down and show him – and his mum and sister – that she’s not just some puff piece. And she blew them away.’
The couple, who have been dating since November 2022, live on opposite sides of the country, with Robert in Queensland and Rorie in Western Australia, but are reportedly making it work.
