And Robert Irwin couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he arrived at Sydney Airport with his girlfriend Rorie Buckey on Wednesday.
The son of late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin is heading to Melbourne with his love in what appears to be his new co-hosting role.
Robert, 19, arrived during the short flight wearing a black T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
He wore a gray puffer jacket and a pair of cream sneakers.

The blonde wore a white face mask and accessorized with a Marc Jacobs handbag.
The lovebirds laughed and smiled for the cameras, with Robert even snapping a photo of the crew before entering the terminal.
He also put on a black face mask and picked up his luggage to check in for his flight.

According to a well-placed source at Channel 10, Irwin will “earn more than $430,000” from his six-week stint in the jungle, and they believe he will be “worth every penny.”
Given Robert’s magnetic appeal and the admiration he commands from fans around the world, the investment is poised to pay off handsomely for the network.
“His combination with the witty and always entertaining Julia (Morris) has all the makings of a dynamic duo, promising viewers an unforgettable experience,” the source said.

It comes days after it was revealed the naturalist beat out big names Sam Pang, Jimmy Rees, Curtis Stone, Beau Ryan and Tristan MacManus for the role.
Robert confirmed Tuesday that he will star alongside comedian Julia for the upcoming 2024 season of the reality show, replacing Dr. Chris Brown.
Speaking with the Herald Sun Ahead of Channel 10’s Upfronts, Robert couldn’t contain his excitement about the new role.
“This just feels like it was meant to be,” he told the publication.

It is not the first time that Robert appears in the jungle. In 2016, the photographer was a guest on the show along with his mother, Terri, and sister Bindi.
He admitted that he has been a “huge fan of the show” ever since.
“I sat at the knee of a grasshopper and had the bowl cut,” he remembers.
“I had so much fun doing that show.”

He first joined Ten in 2008 to present Bondi Vet, before becoming a part-time panelist on The Project and also co-hosting I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Living Room, which was canceled last year.
