Riyad Mahrez’s wife, Taylor Ward, has revealed what she really thinks about life in Saudi Arabia.
The couple recently moved there after footballer Riyad, 33, signed a lucrative contract with Saudi Arabian football club Al Ahli.
Taylor, 26, the daughter of TV personality Dawn Ward, broke down in tears over the move while starring in a new reality TV show Married To The Game.
And now she has given an update on how life abroad is going as she appeared on Lorraine on Wednesday alongside fellow WAG Cat Harding – whose partner is Arsenal’s Jorginho.
Speaking on the show, she said: ‘You’ll see me in tears on the show but I’m warmed up to it now and I’m quite enjoying it.

‘You don’t have time to process the news and before you know it you’re on a flight without a home and living in a hotel.
‘I had just started a company with my sister. You have a full plan and then the next thing gets pulled out from under you.”
She added of her business plans: “Riyad was very supportive of me doing it, but he said, ‘that’s your thing and not mine.’
Taylor broke down in tears while starring a new reality TV show Married To The Game – when she revealed that Riyadh told her over the phone that they were moving to Saudi Arabia.
The program focuses on the lives of footballers’ wives, which is now on Prime Video, shows what it’s really like to be married to athletes.
In a teaser for the show released earlier this month, Taylor sobbed, before revealing: “Riyadh called me and told me we’re moving to Saudi Arabia.”
She opened up to the former Manchester City player, 32, saying: “I’m going to sit at home by myself,” while Riyad replied: “It’s part of the game.”

Taylor, Riyad and the couple’s daughter Mila, 18 months, had to say goodbye to their lives in Cheshire last July when the footballer decided to to leave Premier League giants Manchester City and embark on a new adventure in the fast-growing Saudi Pro League.
Taking to Instagram after the footballer signed a four-year contract with the Jeddah-based side, Taylor stressed that she was excited about what the future could bring in the Arab city, as she shared photos of the family adapting to their surroundings.
She wrote: ‘Home isn’t always a place, it’s the people who live there. I’m excited for our next adventure together and can’t believe we’re leaving Manchester as a little family.
‘These past few years have been some of my favorites and I will cherish those memories forever… next stop… Saudi Arabia…’
The new six-part series will also follow Taylor as she plans her wedding to her husband.
In another clip, Taylor seemed slightly stressed as she opened up about the wedding to her hairdresser.
She exclaimed, “Riyadh is stressing me out. All the flights are sold out, so when I walk down that aisle it will be a miracle.”
The couple married for yearsFor the second time during a legal ceremony in London in September last year.
The couple then exchanged vows at The Londoner Hotel in the capital, with their closest friends and family earlier getting married in an Islamic ceremony in January 2022.
The sun revealed at the time that the duo had done so a third party is planned for later this year and fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at their wedding preparations.
A source said at the time: ‘Taylor and Riyad had their ceremony yesterday with their loved ones watching.
‘It was the legal ceremony before their actual wedding next year, but they went all out at the Londoner – with a fancy dinner after their vows for their family and friends.
‘They will have been married three times by the time their real big celebration comes. Riyad and Taylor certainly don’t do it halfway.’
But Taylor and Riyad won’t be the only couple walking down the aisle as Arsenal footballer Jorginho and his fiancée Catherine will also discuss their wedding preparations as part of the series.

The new six-part series will also follow Taylor as she plans her wedding to her husband (pictured at their second wedding in September), as they are reportedly planning to have three in total.

The Arsenal star popped the question to his girlfriend last December as he got down on one knee in front of the singer, 32, surrounded by red roses and candles as he was serenaded by a violinist in a romantic proposal
The pair, who are believed to have been dating since 2020, share son Jax, three, while Catherine is also mother to daughter, Ada, eight, from an affair with actor Jude Law.
Other WAGS featured include Sara Gundogan, the multilingual model wife of Ilkay Gundogan, formerly of Man City and now Barcelona; Ash Turner, who is married to Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matt Turner; and Sam Tarkowski, wife of Everton centre-back James Tarkowski.
The producers promise ‘an unprecedented look into the lives of each of the women as they juggle work, home and family life with the high-profile careers of their partners’.
