Rhian Sugden has revealed how she battled her desires before welcoming her first child.

The glamor model, 37, is currently seven months pregnant after undergoing eight grueling rounds of IVF with husband Oliver Mellor.

At the height of her fertility struggles, Rhian was left with such crippling anxiety that she could no longer eat, but now that she’s pregnant she has worked on nourishing her body.

Opening her refrigerator and her eating habits, in conversation with Closer magazine, Rhian detailed her daily diet, revealing that she is eating a lot more snacks than usual and has lost the taste for meat.

The day starts with a quick and easy breakfast, with Rhian enjoying a Soak’d Oat banana flavored fruit and seed bar.

For lunch, Rhian eats poached eggs and avocado or jacket potato and beans.

She revealed that avocado is one of her biggest cravings right now and she can easily eat three or four a day.

Dinner usually consists of salmon, vegetables and new potatoes, or risotto with tomato and cheese.

Her favorite sweet treat is a trifle and she often treats herself to a mini treat for dessert.

The mom-to-be added that she eats fruit all day long, saying, “I can’t get enough of oranges and citrus flavors, and strawberries too.

“We also just went to Costco and got a batch of 48 Creme Eggs, which were delicious! I started eating a lot more beetroot and gave up meat.’

Rhian revealed that she ‘can’t cook at all’, so it’s typical Oliver whipping up a meal in the kitchen, while the couple order pizza when they fancy a takeaway.

She added that she’s a fan of Hawaiian, but now that she can tolerate ham longer, she’s sticking to ordering cheese and pineapple.

Rhian recently revealed that she is expecting a boy, admitting that it was ‘always her dream’ to have a son and that she will welcome her baby boy on May 4.

Rhian – who wants to have a second baby ‘soon’ after spending £150,000 on eight rounds of IVF – said she was ‘over the moon’ about the news and that she and husband of five years, actor Oliver, 42, had already picked out a few potential names.

The star told Closer: ‘It was always my dream to have a little boy, I don’t know why but I always imagined having a mini football team.

‘Oliver never said what he wanted, but when we found out it was a boy he had the biggest smile on his face. We’ve already decorated the nursery and chosen a few names – so far we like Tommy and George.’

Rhian also began her difficult journey to motherhood, admitting she suffered from depression, anxiety and an eating disorder while trying to conceive.

She said: ‘I would dread Mother’s Day or if friends shared news of their pregnancy because it didn’t work for me. I was brainwashed.

“Every time I got my period I was like, ‘Ugh, I’m not pregnant anymore,’ and I felt blue for the rest of the month.”

Rhian added that she and Oliver convinced themselves they wouldn’t be able to get pregnant and “started planning a good life without children.”

After finally getting pregnant, she shared that their son was “a miracle” and that she wants to have another child as soon as possible.

She joked that her pregnancy made the couple get inventive with their sex positions because of her bump and the fact that she wasn’t allowed to lie on her back.

Rhian said that although they were ‘still very active in the bedroom’, their sex life is ‘a bit weird’ because Oliver doesn’t like the baby watching from her stomach.

It comes after she revealed her OnlyFans page funded her £150,000 IVF treatment, explaining she earned up to £1,000 a day for posting topless or nude photos on the site.

Rhian shot to fame in 2010 when her ‘texting affair’ with married Vernon Kay was exposed. Vernon’s marriage to Tess Daly survived the scandal.

The glamor model, who is also linked to the ‘canceled’ Russell Brand, married Oliver in 2018.
