John Cena, The Undertaker and ‘Stone Cole’ Steve Austin will reportedly appear in some capacity at WrestleMania 40 in early April.
The three legends will feature “in some form” at WWE’s flagship event, according to WWE Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Exact details are not set in stone and the icons’ funding and willingness will have an impact.
The Undertaker and Austin’s roles will essentially depend on what they are willing to do.
Meanwhile, Cena is said to be available, but his participation will be determined by insurance reasons as he also has filming commitments. He has previously hinted at being involved.

The confirmation that Peacemaker season two will begin filming this summer is welcome news for wrestling fans, as at least they know it won’t affect his availability.
Austin broke retirement to compete at WrestleMania 38, but has not competed in WWE since. The Undertaker’s last match was at WrestleMania 36.
It promises to be an exciting event, with The Rock teaming with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event of night one.
This will be The Rock’s first time competing at Wrestlemania since 2013.
Reins and Rhodes will then battle again on night two as they attempt to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
WrestleMania 40 takes place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia – home of the Philadelphia Eagles NFL team – on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7.
