Ambassador Peter Mwendwa, Consul General for Dubai and the Northern Emirates, accompanied the deputy commander. Elite soldiers serving as his security adopted what Security Analyst Stephen Otieno called a “360-degree view” to keep him safe and cover all possible angles.

The security specialist, who has worked with high-profile figures like President Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, said that Gachagua’s guards must have communicated with their counterparts in Dubai to assess the situation and take the appropriate measures.
