The 34-year-old boxer fought three times during the calendar year, defeating Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius and Otto Wallin to bounce back from back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022.
According to Forbes, Joshua, who has a whopping 16.9 million followers on Instagram and is one of the most famous athletes in the world, was ranked 28th among the world’s highest-paid athletes in 2023.
Joshua, the outlet, currently has a net worth of around £41 million ($53 million) and has continued to grow his massive fortune in 2024 by saving another £39 million for his fight against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
That happened even before he entered the ring, where he would deliver an emphatic second-round knockout to defeat the former UFC heavyweight champion.

That’s an increase of almost £30m on the stock’s 2022 valuation, with the former heavyweight champion paying almost £7m in tax last year.
“When I first started, the goal was to become a multi-millionaire,” he said GQ in 2017.
‘But now there are ordinary people, grandmothers and grandfathers, who are worth millions just because of house prices. So the new mindset is that I must be a billionaire.
‘Being a millionaire is good, but you have to raise the bar. If I make $10 million from my next fight, my next target should be making ten times that amount. And if I reach between 100 and 150 million euros, why wouldn’t I go for that billion? I know self-made billionaires. It’s hard, but it’s possible.’
