Mercy Tarus has been dominating social media halls for a better part of recent weeks after she courageously confronted the county government of Uasin Gishu on student airlift program fund misappropriation.
Apparently, Mercy, who is a graduate of Kabarack University and currently unemployed was offered a job opportunity by a popular senator in the country but turned it down. This attracted the attention of internet users including Prince Masau who is a twitter influencer and content creator.
Prince Masau posted a tweet this morning to advice Mercy Tarus regarding turning down a Job offer. He said, “MY ADVICE TO #MercyTarusI have seen @ledamalekina offer you a job which you gloriously rejected. You got publicity for that and the likes of @justinawamae and co are praising you sijui for what. Back in 2010, I got a very rare opportunity to work with the current president.”
He went ahead to note, “He was the Eldoret North MP back then and was perceived as a political enemy from where I come from. I declined the offer and he swiftly moved on. I earned all the praise there could be. 13 years later, he is the president. Those people who told me not to work with him are now in his government.”
