Reese Witherspoon and her look-alike daughter Ava Phillippe, 23, pulled off a stellar mommy-and-me style moment at Oceana’s SeaChange Summer Party Saturday, hitting the red carpet in matching Proenza Schouler outfits that made them look even more like twins.
“Perfect Summer night with my girl,” the Oscar winner, 47, captioned a series of sweet Instagram snaps of the pair posing in identical Waldorf Astoria bathrobes before their night out and at the event.
“The perfect duo,” she wrote atop the image of the two on the carpet.
Reese wore a strapless knee-length dress in a pale shade of mint green, while her daughter chose a similarly draped white tube top teamed with wide-leg trousers.
Both even opted for similar beauty looks, wearing their blond hair in loose waves, playing up their blue eyes with shimmery shadow and using products from Biossance (Reese is a global brand ambassador) to prep their skin.
Fans immediately took to the comments to remark how much recently single Reese and her daughter looked alike, with one commenting, “Literally twins” and another asking, “Reese which one is daughter/mother?”
However, others thought the model looked more like her dad, Ryan Phillippe.
“Naaa she is the female version of her father 🙌 😍🔥,” one person boldly declared as another asked, “Why do ya’ll always say TWINS? They’re both very beautiful women, but Ava is the twin of her father. Deacon looks just like Reese.”
Reese and Ryan also share son Deacon Phillippe, 19.
Reese’s celebrity pals were quick to dole out compliments as well. Mariska Hargitay called the women “Beauties inside and out,” Gwyneth Paltrow dropped heart emojis and Selma Blair commented, “You are both so beautiful. And 💛💛. And. 🌊 💛.”

Despite the whole world thinking Reese and Ava couldn’t look more alike, the “Morning Show” actress has said she and her daughter “don’t see [the resemblance] that much.”
