The Real Housewives Of New York star Jenna Lyons is setting boundaries about what she will and will not allow to be on air.

The fashion designer, 55, told her co-stars during Sunday’s episode of the reboot of the popular Bravo franchise that she was in a relationship.

And that is all she offered.

‘Because I’ve had so much press, I am very quiet about that so I’m not sharing that,’ Jenna told Jessel Taank, Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan and Erin Lichy while having dinner in the Hamptons.

The former head of J. Crew – who has a genetic disorder that affects her hair and teeth – is keeping the identity of her girlfriend under wraps.

‘My life has put me in the public eye for my job and other things I’ve done. And that is my choice. And someone does not want to be in that with me, then I have to respect that,’ she said during a confessional.

And she meant it. Jenna did not even tell the ladies how she and her girlfriend met or how long they have been together.

But her fellow Real Housewives really just wanted to know one thing – if she was happy.

Jenna said she was, leading Jessel to comment: ‘That’s the most important thing.’

However, Sai wasn’t impressed with Jenna’s desire to keep her private life off screen.

‘I want to know what’s going on with her relationship,’ the influencer said.

‘She knows my husband, why can’t I know her girlfriend? We’re friends, that’s what friends do – we know each other’s spouses. I’m hoping she’ll let her guard down a little bit.’

Jenna was married to Vincent Mazeau from 2002 to 2011 and realized she was a lesbian toward the end of her marriage.

She was 40 at the time and still running J. Crew when she was asked to get on a conference call with the company’s CEO, head of PR and the New York Post.

The outlet said they had information that she was ‘seeing a woman’ and wanted her to ‘confirm or deny’ the relationship.

She hadn’t told her mother, her family or anyone at work about her sexuality and had only been seeing the woman in question for three weeks. Still, she felt she had no choice but to confirm the rumors.

‘While it was devastating and probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever experience, I’m still incredibly grateful for how gracious everyone in the office was. Everyone was incredible. Not my mom, but everybody else,’ Jenna revealed in a confessional.
