Jenna Lyons said that at the height of her fame she felt that she could not go outside on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo.
‘When it was at its height, I could not go outside,’ Jenna, 55, said during the group trip to Anguilla. ‘I grew up feeling so unattractive and so not cool. So for someone to say ‘can I take a picture with you,’ is like how many pictures do you want?’
‘We live in a culture where the way you look is compared, despair, it’s everything,’ Jenna said in a confessional.
‘And women try to fit into it, all the time, and there is a lot of pressure. The way I am approaching it now I feel much more in my body and I’m still myself. I just realize that I’m not trying to be something for someone else, and I spent a lot of time doing that,’ she added.
Jenna, who earlier told the group about her traumatic childhood, also shared why she made a decision not to send her son Beckett to private school in New York City.

‘I also think if you put them in a place where everyone around them is privileged then that’s all they know,’ Jenna said.
Jenna said the money scene in the city was over the top.
‘These kids have private planes,’ Jenna said. ‘They all are like traveling to Greece for the holidays. It’s like the money is insane and it’s not real life. Listen, I’m not perfect at it. Even my son has said I have a warped sense of money.’
‘I’m trying not to spoil Beckett. It’s so hard. I mean, I’m the one who’s always needs to be reined in. Literally, even to the point where I’m like, “Do you want to get ice cream?” He’s like, “No, Mom.” And I’m like, “Do you want this shirt?” And he’s like, “No, Mom, it’s too expensive.” I was like, “Right, right, right. “Yeah, you’re right. You know, you’re right,’ she admitted to her friends.
The season 14 episode titled The Case of the Missing Phone opened with Erin Lichy, 36, yelling at Ubah Hassan, 39, for grabbing her sunglasses off her face during their girls trip to Anguilla.
‘Why are mom and dad fighting?’ Brynn Whitfield, 36, said.
‘You want to calm down?’ Erin said.
‘I am very calm,’ Ubah said, holding Erin’s glasses behind her back.

‘You’re not going to scream in my face,’ Erin said.
‘You’re not going to be wearing your f***ing glasses,’ Ubah said.
Erin demanded that she give her back her glasses. Erin said she had Ubah’s phone for only 45 minutes and Ubah said that she would hold Erin’s glasses for the same period of time.
‘That’s not okay to scream in someone’s face like that,’ Erin said crying. ‘Thank you for ruining my last day. You don’t scream in my face. I’m not a child.’
The group then went on a trip to taste some local rum. Jenna tried to ask Ubah for Erin’s sunglasses back, but she said no.
‘It just feels really petty to me,’ Jenna said in a confessional.
‘She’s such a b****,’ Erin said.
They went to a beach bar to try local rum and Sai De Silva, 42, got behind the bar to be the bartender.

‘I bartended for 10 years in the city and it was the time of my life,’ Sai said in a confessional.
Ubah’s alarm went off and she gave Erin back her sunglasses. Ubah said that Erin was a spoiled brat and that she abused Brynn by calling her a social climber.
‘I don’t have to climb, I took the elevator,’ Brynn said in a confessional.
Erin grabbed her things and said she was going back to the villa.
‘I am just blown away that we are still talking about this,’ Jenna said in a confessional.
Jenna said one of the women at the bar asked if Brynn was her daughter. The women then went to lunch together and Sai said she wished they could all resolve things.
‘We can resolve when people stop being liars and abusive,’ Ubah said.
Erin then announced she had booked a car and was going back to the villa.

‘I literally cannot be near her,’ Erin told Sai as she was leaving. ‘She will not stop talking about me.’
Jenna said she understood.
‘Ubah’s incredibly sweet until she’s not,’ Jenna said in a confessional.
‘I am so done with this narrative, Black women are angry,’ Ubah said. ‘We are passionate, and we don’t take your s***,and we are not fake.’
Erin called home back at the Villa and cried while telling what Ubah did to her.
‘The way she treated me today never in my life was I treated like that,’ Erin said.
Erin said in a confessional that it reminded her of when she was being bullied in seventh grade for having a ‘long jaw and called ‘Long Jaw Silver.’

Brynn then told Jessel Taank, 43, that Erin talked ‘mad s***’ about her.
‘That you are the dumb, dumb of the whole group,’ Brynn said.
‘Who is she to f***ing make the judgment,’ Jessel said.’I don’t get f***ing angry. I’m f***ing pissed. Listen, I’ve been playing nice in the sand pit.’
Jessel said she wasn’t going to let it go anymore.
‘Now that you told me that she’s f***ing painting me out to be this f***ing person,’ Jessel said.
‘She literally was like you have a trust fund and that you had been lying about it the whole time,’ Brynn said.
‘I have a f***ing checklist that I have been keeping in my phone about this b****,’ Jessel said.
‘This list is longer than a CVS receipt,’ Brynn quipped.

When they got back to the villa, Erin told Ubah that she had been crying because she was so upset. Ubah said she thought they were done after Erin had thrown her in the pool earlier, but then she went to her room and couldn’t find her phone.
Brynn then reminded Erin that she accused her of flirting with her husband.
‘So now you’re starting with me?’ Erin said.
‘Do you want me to start with you?’ Brynn said.
Brynn told Erin she was upset that she called her a social climber. Erin told Ubah to shut up but she refused.
‘You’re such a f***ing b****,’ Erin said.
While the screaming fight was going on, Jenna was back in the house working on her computer.
‘As this thing is happening, I have three different projects running at the same time, so I’m working,’ Jenna said. ‘So I had to peace out for a while and just focus.’
Erin accused Ubah of being abusive and that no one was sticking up for her and then broke down crying.
‘It’s too much,’ Erin said.
Ubah and Erin went to talk and both told each other that they loved each other.
‘You’re not a liar,’ Ubah said. ‘Talking s***, you do.’

Ubah and Erin hugged and made up.
‘You’re a s*** stirrer,’ Ubah said in a confessional. ‘You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. We’re moving on. Let’s have fun.’
Brynn took a shower and then came to Jenna’s room and announced she was wet as they continued flirting with each other.
A producer asked Jenna if Brynn could handle her.
‘I guess we will have to find out,’ Jenna said.

The women got dressed for dinner at the house. Brynn suggested they play a game and they told each other which was their favorite outfit they wore on the trip.
Jenna said in a confessional that she had fun on the girls trip.
‘I had more fun than I thought I was going to and while I could have had a dark moment,’ Jenna said in a confessional. ‘I gave myself a 5 and C for the Hampton’s trip. I think this one I give myself a B-plus and like a 7. I’m getting better.
