Edwin Castro, who claimed the record-setting $2.4 billion Powerball prize in February, was seen stepping out of a limo at Los Angeles International Airport Thursday sporting a casual but pricey travel outfit, exclusive photos obtained by The Post show.
The 31-year-old and an unidentified blond were both dressed comfortably — but not inexpensively — as they walked through the airport to their unknown destination.
The lucky lottery winner showed off a new hairdo, adding white streaks to his long, dark mane, which he twisted into several braids and tied up in a bun on top of his head.
He looked relaxed in a T-shirt and sweats paired with sneakers, a watch and a backpack, but the outfit was a bit more upscale than it appears — totaling an estimated $1,000.
Castro appears to be wearing a Garmin Instinct Crossover Solar watch on his wrist so he can check to make sure he’s not late for his flight. Wonder whether he’s flying commercial or private?
The timepiece is listed on Garmin’s website for $449.99 but marked down to $400 elsewhere.
The tactical watch boasts a long battery life, accurate analog timekeeping, safety and tracking features, contactless payment options and a long list of health and fitness apps.
The Los Angeles native stepped out at LAX in what also appears to be white and gray Nike Vaporfly 3 Men’s Road Racing Shoes.
The running kicks are sold for $250 at Nike sports and shoe stores. The sneakers completed Castro’s sporty look head-to-toe as he made his way to his unknown destination.
Castro packed his stuff into what looks like a Gregory Miwok 18 backpack in Reflex Blue, a sports pack that added a nice pop of bright color to the billionaire’s toned-down airport outfit.
The adjustable daypack usually sells for $109.95 — but is currently on sale for 25% off, or $82.46.
The main focus of the 31-year-old’s casual but cool look was centered on his graphic t-shirt.
Castro was seen wearing a Chomp brand Dead Sexy graphic t-shirt in black, according to the brand.
Chomp posted a photo on their Instagram account showing a Post article with an image of Castro rocking the $24.95 top.
“Do you think he owned the shirt before he became a billionaire. Congrats, king,” the brand captioned the post.
Castro accepted the lump payout of $997.6 million earlier this year, months after the record-breaking winning numbers were announced.
Since joining the 1%, the Californian has dropped a combined $76 million on three massive mansions in California, including his most recent purchase earlier this month: a sprawling, $47 million, infinity pool-equipped compound in Bel Air.
His newest crib boasts seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and panoramic views of Los Angeles, the Daily Mail first reported.
The billionaire’s newest home further features DJ turntables, a Champagne tasting room, a suspended glass walkway, a wine cellar and a theater, as well as walk-in closets and sitting areas in the bedrooms, and an enormous koi pond in the entry area.
Although he’s been splurging since acquiring his riches, it wasn’t without controversy.
His former landlord, Urachi “Reggie” Romero, 47, was sued in February by his former tenant, Jose Rivera, for allegedly stealing the winning ticket from him and giving it to Castro.
Castro shot back at Rivera’s lawsuit in May, claiming his attorneys failed to show a clear connection between himself and Romero.
Romero has denied stealing the ticket, but he told The Post he believes Rivera did, in fact, purchase the winning numbers, claiming he saw it with his own eyes.
The California Lottery has maintained that it is confident Castro is the rightful winner of the record-breaking fortune.
