Popular Radio journalist Gaikamba Mwangi was on Tuesday morning, August 1, involved in a grisly road accident. The involved his car and a 14-seater-matatu.
While his car was severely damaged, Gaikamba survived the accident and escaped with minor injuries.
The Gukena FM news anchor stated that he was grateful to God after coming out of the accident unscathed, even as he shared photos of his badly damaged car.
In a statement, Gaikamba stated ” Thank God am still alive.May God Almighty protect you always as we enter a new month.Happy New Month to you all.”
He also took time to thank the first responders who helped him, and addressed him at the scene of the accident after a large crowd gathered.
The accident inspired a flood of emotional responses from fans of Gaikamba who expressed their relief following what was a close shave. Here are some of the comments;
