PHOTOS: MP Otiende Amollo’s son weds fiancé in traditional ceremony

Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo’s son Rodney Abel is officially off the market.

Rodney held his beautiful traditional wedding (dowry payment) otherwise known as Nyombo among the Luo community in a private ceremony on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

The lawmaker – alongside other high-profile politicians – accompanied their son to negotiate for the bride price and traditionally wed his lover Elle Cecilia months after he proposed to her in July during her birthday party.

In snaps shared on social media, the groom wore an earth-tone suit and Ankara coat to compliment his fiancé who donned a midnight blue African print dress.

Among the politicians present were Siaya Governor James Orengo, George Wajackoyah and other ODM politicians.
