Mombasa County Governor Abdulswamad Sheriff Nassir on Saturday, November 2, 2024, joined the Catholic faithful in celebrating a cultural night.
The county chief in a statement shared on Sunday, November 3, 2024, stated that the night event took place at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Nyali, Mombasa, and was presided over by Archbishop Martin Kivuva.
Gratitude to Catholic event
Abdulswamad expressed his gratitude for the Catholic event, noting that the Saturday night gathering highlighted the strength and diversity of Kenya’s faith and traditions.
“Honored to join the Catholic community for a beautiful Cultural Night celebration at St. Francis of Assisi Church, presided over by His Grace Archbishop Martin Kivuva. This gathering highlighted the strength and diversity of our faith and traditions, reminding us that unity in diversity is our greatest strength,” Abdulswamad stated.
