‘Pawn Stars’ Corey Harrison arrested for DUI in Las Vegas: report

Corey Harrison, best known for being a permanent fixture on “Pawn Stars,” was arrested over a DUI charge in Las Vegas Friday.

The reality star, 40, was pulled over by cops shortly after he returned to Sin City — his hometown — following a brief visit to Minnesota, TMZ reports.

According to the outlet, cops claim Harrison was “swerving” while driving, prompting them to stop his vehicle.

After Harrison was pulled over and questioned, one of the arresting officers said Harrison eventually admitted to having an alcoholic drink on his flight seven hours prior to the stop.

Harrison reportedly asked the cop if he could take a breathalyzer test when he stepped out of his vehicle to take a field sobriety test.

However, the officer denied his request, telling him the device was broken.

Harrison was then asked to take a blood test and was allegedly told that he if refused to do so he would have to spend the weekend in jail.

After taking the test, he was released from custody eight hours later, the outlet reports.

He told the outlet that his driving privileges were not suspended, and he was able to leave the police station with his driver’s license.

Harrison isn’t the only star of the long-running show that’s found himself in trouble with the law.

His co-star Chumlee, whose real name is Austin Russell, has had an extensive number of run-ins with the law in the past.

In 2008, he was arrested for loitering for prostitution.

According to NBC News 3 Las Vegas, he was arrested once again in Las Vegas in 2016 after his home was raided in connection to a sexual assault investigation.

Police later found firearms, and narcotics peppered around his house.

Russell was arrested and eventually released after posting a $62,000 bond, and was ordered to three years of probation and counseling, all of which he completed in 2019.

“Pawn Stars” earned its stripes as a global hit after becoming one of the longest-running reality series.

It focuses on the daily happenings at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, a 24-hour family business that kickstarted in 1989.

The show boasts a whopping 22 seasons and is the History Channel’s highest-rated show after having been broadcast in 150 countries and dubbed in 38 languages.
