The Pakistani cricket captain, Babar Azam, finds himself at the centre of a new controversy, as reports suggest that his private videos and intimate conversations have been leaked online. This latest scandal comes hot on the heels of criticism surrounding his leadership and the performance of his team.
The alleged leaked material involves intimate interactions between Babar and a woman, which have caused quite a stir on social media. Doubts, however, have been raised about the authenticity of the video clip, with some questioning whether it is genuine or fabricated.

In November 2020, a woman levelled accusations of sexual abuse against him, alleging that the cricketer had manipulated her for a decade, promising marriage while making several other unsavoury allegations.
The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, revealed during a press conference, “I have known Babar since the time he had nothing to do with cricket. He was from a poor household. I hope all my brothers and sisters here are going to help me get justice so that no daughter gets to go through what I have. Babar and I have grown up in the same colony, we used to stay together.”
She further detailed their relationship, “He was my school friend. In 2010, he proposed to me and I accepted his proposal. He in fact proposed to me after coming to my house. As time progressed, our understanding got better. We had planned to get married and informed our families too but they refused. Then Babar and I decided to have a court marriage. In 2011, Babar and I eloped and having promised me of marriage, kept me at rented places. During that time, I kept asking him to get married but he said ‘we are not in a position to. With time, we will get married’.”
As the controversy continues to unfold, the Pakistani cricket captain finds himself under increasing scrutiny both on and off the field. It remains to be seen how this latest scandal will impact Babar’s career and reputation in the cricketing world.
