Paige Spiranac is ready for it — The Open, that is.

The longtime golf influencer, 30, previewed the final major of the year on Monday in a new Twitter video, where she issued a brief warning to fans on how to properly identify the tournament when in the presence of a “golf purist.”

“Hello, everyone, and major season in golf is sadly coming to an end with The Open this week, and your yearly reminder to say ‘The Open’ and not ‘The British Open’ or else you’ll make a golf purist’s mind explode,” Spiranac said in the clip.

However, it is officially called The Open.

The 151st Open Champion is set to get underway Thursday at Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Hoylake, England.

Though Spiranac did not provide her picks for The Open in Monday’s clip, she did highlight a few winners at Royal Liverpool from year’s past.

“Some notable winners at Royal Liverpool was Rory McIlroy in 2014 and Tiger Woods in 2006,” she recalled.

McIlroy, 34, is coming off a win at last week’s Genesis Scottish Open, in which he shot a 15-under.

“Obviously a huge confidence boost going into The Open,” McIlroy said of his 24th PGA Tour victory.

“I’ve had my chances over the last couple of months and been knocking on the door. … Hopefully this breaks the seal, and we can go on from here.”

McIlroy placed third in last year’s tournament, falling short of Cameron Smith, who claimed his first major title at the 2022 Open Championship.

Spiranac selected Smith, 29, to win, joking last summer how she hoped her prediction “ages well.”

“It’s Open Championship time! Who do you have winning? I have my money on Cam Smith and it looks like he had a great start,” Spiranac said on social media at the time. “Hopefully this ages well come Sunday lol.”

Fortunately, it did.
