Packers quarterback Jordan Love commented on the terrible interception that helped redeem Green Bay’s 24-21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Love violated Rule No. 1 for quarterbacks on the Packers’ final play of the game with less than a minute left on the clock when he threw a ball deep downfield and over his body that was intercepted in Green Bay’s loss to reinforce.

‘The game broke down. I was scrambling,” Love began his response to a question about the piece. “I saw Christian (Watkins) through the middle and tried to force one into him.

“I thought I could make the play. I didn’t see the back end, so they played great.”

Love when asked about several other throws that were unrelated to the offense and could have potentially turned into huge game-changing plays.

“The one for Tucker (Kraft), you know I missed it. I was behind him a little bit,” Love said. “He was driving a crossing route and it was clearly picked up and picked up.

“The one for Aaron (Jones) was quite off schedule. You know he stayed on the road, and we just weren’t on the same page there. Missed that one too.

‘It will sting for a while when I see all the matches in the future. It will sting knowing we had a chance to win and we dropped the ball on it. It will sting for a while.”

The 25-year-old QB and the rest of the players on the field had to deal with torrential rain all evening, which was also discussed during his post-game press conference.

‘It was clearly raining heavily, it is a challenge that presents itself. But I don’t think it had much of an impact on the passing game.”

Love had battled through the rain to connect with Kraft and wide receiver Bo Melton for his two touchdowns that night.
