“Oxcart courier” is a Dragon dogma 2 side mission that starts near the ox cart station in Vernworth, when Donovan approaches you with a request. Listen to him and he will ask you to deliver a letter from Lady Margit to Ser Lennart, who is currently in Melve.
Melve, as you’ll recall, is the first real settlement you come across after the Borderwatch Outpost, so you’ll need to head back there with letter in hand. However, Ser Lennart seems to be a rather elusive man. Also, “Oxcart Courier” is a timed questmeaning you may fail if you don’t find Lennart fast enough.

Where can you find Lennart in Melve for the quest ‘Oxcart Courier’
Lennart can be found at a number of different locations in Melve. When I returned to deliver the letter, Melve was attacked by a dragon. After dealing with that, Lennart was located under the arch at the entrance to the cityin the part where most houses have been destroyed:

However, Lennart may be somewhere else depending on when you arrive.
- He may be standing by the wella bit down the slope from where the entrance to the town is
- He could also be at his home or innboth next to each other on the opposite corner of the entrance.
- Some players have reported finding it outside the inn also have a chat with another NPC.

If he’s not in one of these locations, just walk around Melve and keep an eye on him. He wears a cloak with hooded shoulders and has wavy gray hair with shaved sides.
You get 5,000 gold, 300 XP and Miner Hosen armor as a reward, which isn’t too shabby since you can take the bullock cart there and back.
