Television personality Osher Gunsberg has slammed the participants of a wild beach party that took over one of Sydney’s most sought-after coastal spots on Christmas Day.
Thousands of partygoers flocked to Bronte Beach in the city’s eastern suburbs on Monday morning, wearing red swimwear for the festivities.
The video of the packed beach quickly went viral online and many attendees praised the ‘disgusting’ rubbish left behind, including Gunsberg, who lives in Bronte.
“Oh man, it’s a damn mess the crew left behind too,” the Bachelor host said on Monday.

The event is a mecca for thousands of tourists and backpackers traveling to Australia this summer.
Despite its appeal to foreigners, the event has drawn the ire of locals in recent years, largely because of the waste left behind.
‘I should have seen the rubbish left behind. Disgusting,” said one.
“The worst part is they also left the place in a huge mess,” another added.
“(They) treat beaches like they mean nothing.”
Others called for action before the 2024 event, with one writing: ‘They need to end the beach nest year.
“This actually looks like a nightmare and the mess you all have left behind is disgraceful…disgusting behaviour.”

The Bronte Surf Life Saving Club, which helped patrol the beach, said it was a “challenging” day for volunteers.
“An astonishing number of volunteers gave up part of their Christmas day to keep thousands safe,” they said.
‘Let’s hope everyone takes their rubbish with them when the bins are all full.’
However, the event was not without its advocates.
Video of the crowd of thousands was quickly uploaded to Tik Tok, from local and international accounts.
“I want to know who coordinated this because the memo got through,” said user Fifihay.
Another video from the event from Canadian content creator Rory Court was viewed more than 11,000 times.
