One Direction star Louis Tomlinson sets tongues wagging as he’s spotted at McDonald’s in Sydney with Love Island Australia’s Phoebe Spiller

Louis Tomlinson has been spotted on a late McDonald’s run with Love Island Australia’s Phoebe Spiller in Sydney.

The One Direction star, 32, was seen in a TikTok video shared on Sunday ordering next to Phoebe at the counter.

An employee at the fast food restaurant filmed him from behind their station before Louis noticed and raised his hand to block his face.

But the pop star dropped by later, as the clip switches to the employee and Louis (sans Phoebe) posing for a photo together.

The ex-One Direction singer recently wrapped up the Australian leg of his Faith in the Future solo world tour, where he graced stages in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney from late January to early February.

Tomlinson was previously seen with another Love Island Australia alum, Claudia Bonifazio.

Both women were in the 2022 season of the show and were still with their Love Island partners a week ago.

Claudia recently shared a loved-up selfie with Austen Bugeja, who she met and fell in love with on the dating show two years ago.

Similarly, Phoebe shared a video of herself and partner Mitchell Eliot sitting in bed together enjoying some food.

Despite hanging out with two contestants on the popular dating show, Louis has previously rejected Love Island.

In 2019, while promoting a single on Twitter (now X), he was asked if he was watching the latest season of the dating show at the time.

‘I am not. “I made the mistake of looking at previous years, but enough is enough,” he said.

“It’s not a good message for the younger people watching.”

It comes just weeks after Louis’ fans were caught in a stampede at Riverstage in Brisbane, where the British singer performed in January.

Dozens of ticket holders lined up outside the venue overnight in the hope of securing a coveted front row seat.

However, they were turned away by the venue, which banned camping and promised that early arrivals would be given numbered wristbands from 9.30am on Tuesday morning to keep their place in the queue. Brisbane times reported.

More than 2,000 fans arrived in an attempt to secure the 500 blue wristbands on offer, with fights breaking out in the melee.

There was further anger when fans learned that others who showed up on Monday had already been given gold wristbands, with the stoush ending in a stampede.

‘We were thrown into the trees. A mother lost her two daughters, aged 10 and nine respectively,” Madison Francis, 15, told the Brisbane Times.

“It was very dangerous, there were a few injuries.”

Another fan, Elizabeth Hales, told the newspaper that fans were “jumping the gates,” leading to a “hectic” situation.

A Brisbane City Council spokesperson said such events would be better managed in future.

“Due to severe weather warnings, council officers acted in the best interests of young fans queuing early despite rules prohibiting this,” the spokesperson told the Brisbane Times.
