Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon Babu Owino has now received a major blow on Friday, September 1 over the case involving Felix Orinda, famously known as DJ Evolve case.
According to recent developments, the Director of Public Prosecutions has now taken a major legal step just days after Court acquitted all the charges against the ODM MP in relation to the shooting of Felix Orinda.
In a court ruling issued on Tuesday, August 28, the a Nairobi Magistrate stated that the prosecution failed to adduce that the fireman attached to the MP was used in the shooting of the DJ.
The Magistrate also informed that the ballistic report submitted to Court did not substantiate the claims made against the MP.
Meanwhile, the MP is now back to the legal frying pan after the DPP made filed an appeal at the court of appeal, challenging the decision to acquit Babu Owino of the charges against him.
