New York Jets cornerback Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner admitted he was uneducated after sparking outrage by claiming Jewish people “run the world” during a livestream appearance.

Gardner, who enjoyed two seasons with the Jets, made the comment this week during popular Jewish streamer Adin Ross’ live Kick feed.

“I’ll be honest, I don’t like funny weird things,” Gardner says in the viral clip. “You all run the world.”

After the response was secured, Gardner told X (formerly Twitter), “I love all people. Although my intentions were positive, I just learned that people are using the exact words I shared out of hatred for Jewish people.”
