John Woo is set to reimagine his original version which starred Chow Yun Fat and follows an assassin as he takes on one final hit and run to prevent a singer from going blind after he accidentally damages her eyes and the two fall in love.

Since then the actress has gone on to star in the Hollywood Fast And Furious franchise as well as the sci-fi series based off the Maze Runner novels.
