Singer-cum-politician Charles Njagua popularly known as Jaguar has opened up about the possibility and ease of introducing another participant into his marriage.
Speaking during his recent interview with Kameme FM, the Kigeugeu crooner stated that while most women would not welcome such dynamics, he is certain his wife would not be opposed to polygamy.
“I’m married and my wife is very supportive, but I would marry another one. She is well taken care of and I’m certain she wouldn’t mind if I got another wife,” Jaguar stated as he acclaimed himself as a family man.
The quote was loosely translated from his Kikuyu verbatim.
The former Starehe MP has four children -two kids with his wife and two others with his baby mama. He says he has maintained a cordial relationship with his baby mama.
Jaguar revealed that although he was not bred in a polygamous setup, his father married a second wife after the passing of his mother.

Polygamy
Various Kenyan artiste and politicians have embraced polygamous marriages including Mugithi maestro Samidoh, and Kikuyu gospel singer Muigai wa Njoroge among others.
In August Muigai sealed the deal after paying dowry for his second wife Queen Stacey in a colourful event held in Ndeiya, Kiambu County.
On the other hand, Samidoh’s baby mama Senator Karen Nyamu boldly defended that polygamy should be embraced across the country because some men are too much for one woman to handle.
Karen has been vocal about polygamy and has expressed optimism about their polygamous union thriving as she continues to rubbish the enduring tag implicating her as an “infamous homewrecker”.
“I support polygamy cause kuna wanaume wengine kama Samidoh who are too much for one woman, manzee mbona unataka kua na chali wa nguvu tu pekee yako? Hapana chali wengine ni wa kushariwa, Kubali tu,” she said.
