The feud between Radio personality and comedian David Oyando popularly known as Kendrick Mulamwah and his baby mama Carol Sonnie is far from over.
The recent move by Mulamwah points to an imminent nasty battle between them after the entertainer threatened to sue her for what he termed defamation and child abuse.
The duo has been in a heated back-forth after Mulamwah jumped on the viral TitTok challenge explaining his challenges as an alleged deadbeat baby daddy in Kenya.
Following the comedian’s video, Sonnie hit below the belt with her clapback. She went to YouTube to respond to him explaining her challenges in dealing with the tag ‘toxic baby mama.’
In a new legal suit, Mulamwah decried that Sonnie has painted him as a deadbeat dad despite his efforts to take his responsibilities. He claims the mother-of-one has been shutting him out from supporting his daughter.
“You have, without cause, continued to slander our client while simultaneously denying him access to the minor,” part of the court papers dated February 1, 2024 read.
“Leo ni early kick-off — if you have time you can read. Don’t be quick to point fingers. mambo ni court sasa. Diplomacy failed let’s try it in Newtons. Don’t judge always pray,” Mulamwah captioned the court documents.
The documents revealed that in 2022, he sought legal assistance with a co-parenting schedule saying he needed at least two consecutive days.
After his previous claim, Sonnie seemingly confirmed blocking the comedian’s support and defended herself in a subtle clapback.
“Good morning, a quick reminder… no matter how broke you are, never accept offers that come with disrespect,” she stated at the time.
