No more austerity

Mulamwah had been very economical with his expenditure before he impregnated his partner Ruth K.

The comedian only started spending money on nonbasic things after Ruth K got pregnant for him.

He coughed out Ksh150,000 on his baby mama’s maternity photoshoot to the surprise of everyone who had known him to be a very stingy man.

Mulamwah also moved out of a Ksh9,000 bedsitter in February 2024 after the birth of his son.

The comedian and Ruth K were blessed with their first child together in early February this year.

The pair announced the birth of their first child together through a statement on social media on February 10, 2024.

From the moment I first held you in my arms, I just knew you were the missing puzzle in my life. Your tiny fingers wrapped around mine, your breath, and the way you look up at me with your innocent eyes. Can’t wait to make more memories with you and watch you grow into an incredible person. You are loved so much, baby Kalamwa. Proud to be mama @oyando_jnr. Thanks daddy @mulamwah for always being the best for us. We love you,” Ruth K wrote, Mulamwah reposted the statement on his social media platforms.

The comedian-cum-radio presenter had been living in the bedsitter for the longest despite being a celebrity.

Mulamwah and his partner left the bedsitter for a three-bedroom apartment.

“Finally God is great, kijana has moved out of the ghetto. I will miss my 9k bedsitter that welcomed me to the city. My friends from the neighbourhood too, but we will always stay connected.

“There were a lot of ups and downs, but it helped me save cash and appreciate life better. Always appreciate and thank God for the little steps.

“Move slow, move correct. The mansion is almost done. Meanwhile, let’s see how this 3B life in Nairobi goes. Even us, let’s experience what others go through. Kalamwah is enjoying a little,” Mulamwah shared.

Mulamwah had for the longest time resisted the temptations of living a luxurious life in Nairobi as he directed his finances towards the construction of his multimillion-shillings mansion in his rural home in Trans Nzoia county.

He started constructing his dream mansion in June 2022 and has been updating his fans on every stage of the construction.

Mulamwah is among the celebrities who are currently constructing huge mansions.
