Muigai is prevalently known as ‘Kigutha’ because of his hit tune ‘Kigutha’. He has two wives, Njeri Muigai and Queen Stacey. In his polygamous relationship, he has more than six children.

The famous gospel artist in Mount Kenya came into the limelight for many when he played a great role in influencing people to vote for President Ruto, alleging he would bring the cost of living down, which he is currently working on.

President William Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, on Sunday, April 30, gifted musician Muigai wa Njoroge Ksh2 million in cash.

Speaking during Njoroge’s 25-year anniversary celebrations at Thika Stadium, Gachagua presented Njoroge with a black gunny bag full of money.

The bag was brought on stage by a member of the Deputy President’s security detail who confirmed that it contained the Ksh2 million.
