Walsh dropped his opponent early in the second round before he could recover, but he continued the attack and earned an impressive win that takes his record to 6-1-0.

The American had hinted that the fight could be his last as an amateur before the fight and the manner in which he wins will fuel further rumors of an impending move forward.

Afterwards, he admitted that he is ‘still getting used to everything’ and revealed that he will consult his coach about the next best step for his career.

“There’s so much going on in my head right now.” He said. ‘I’m still an amateur, so I still have to get used to everything. To have this kind of experience as an amateur is crazy.

“I’m super blessed and grateful. I don’t know, I’m going to sit down with my coach and see what happens.

“But I’ll be sure to announce it soon so everyone knows.”

Walsh made his debut with the PFL promotion in 2022 with an incredible 45-second knockout over Tom Graesser.

Friday’s win was his fourth of the year after securing stoppages against Isaiah Figueroa, Travell Miller and Ed Davis.
