Apple TV+ has released another teaser for the upcoming docuseries about Argentina’s road to glory in Qatar, ‘Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend’.
The four-part show takes supporters behind the scenes of Messi’s five World Cup appearances, culminating in the victory in the desert.
Fans got their first glimpse of the upcoming series last month, when an initial trailer was released featuring archive footage from Messi’s younger days, film from the Argentina team bus and interviews with Messi himself and football icon Gary Lineker.
Now filmmakers have teased more from the film, which debuts on February 21 and features interviews with his Argentine teammates.

The series includes interviews with Emiliano Martinez (L) and Enzo Fernandez (R) among others
Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez and Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodrigo De Paul all feature in the 90-second clip.
They discuss playing alongside Messi when the stakes were highest in Qatar, with De Paul revealing what the Argentina captain told his players.
“He said, ‘I can’t let you down,’” De Paul says to the camera.
Elsewhere in the preview, Messi says: ‘I’m ready – with great desire, very excited. Winning the World Cup would be the dream ending.”
The trailer also includes behind-the-scenes clips from Argentina’s medical room and the chaotic scenes following the country’s victory over France in the final.
‘My journey was not easy. This is my last chance,” Messi said.
The series will chart his journey from his international debut to Qatar, through several World Cup failures and even early retirement. It also promises “the most personal interviews yet with Messi, in addition to conversations with teammates, coaches, competitors, devout fans and commentators.”
