A former Ohio State teammate revealed that Marvin Harrison Jr. has a favorite destination in the NFL.
Paris Johnson Jr., an offensive tackle for the Arizona Cardinals and formerly the Buckeyes, said Harrison wants to join him in Arizona ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft in April.
Johnson appeared on the Cardinals Corner podcast last week and talked about a conversation he and Harrison had about a possible reunion.
“Right when I got drafted, I literally went up to Marvin and said, ‘Dude, you know you’re a Cardinal, right?’” Johnson said. “I knew he was going to be a Cardinal because I saw what happened with D-Hop (DeAndre Hopkins). I think the Cardinals probably want another 6-4 receiver.”
“He said he wanted to be a cardinal,” Johnson said when asked about Harrison’s reaction to his comment.

Johnson was drafted by the Cardinals with the sixth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft
Harrison is expected to be the first non-quarterback selected in next month’s draft
Johnson was selected by the Cardinals with the sixth overall pick in 2023. Arizona has the fourth pick in next month’s draft as Harrison is projected to be the top receiver in the class.
According to ESPN’s latest mock draft, Harrison’s wishes could come true. The world leader in the sport has selected Harrison behind quarterbacks Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye.
Last season, Harrison racked up 67 receptions for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns as the Buckeyes finished with an 11-2 record. Their season came to an end in the Peach Bowl against Georgia.
During his three seasons at Ohio State, Harrison racked up 155 catches for 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns.
Harrison will hope to help the Cardinals, who are coming off a 4-13 season last year and have missed the past two postseasons.
