Married At First Sight star Richard Sauerman has revealed his one major regret from his time on the dating show.
Richard, 62, was linked to Andrea Thompson on Channel Nine’s dating experiment, but the couple decided to go their separate ways in Sunday’s episode.
Looking back on his journey with the programme, Richard admitted there was one comment he wished he had never made.
He memorably shocked his co-stars with a sassy comment about his sex life with Andrea, 51, during intimacy week.

His comments come after Andrea lifted the lid on her marriage to Richard behind closed doors after sensationally quitting the experiment on Sunday.
Speaking exclusively to Ny Breaking Australia, she said she decided to end things with Richard because the couple’s constant arguments were starting to make her “feel crazy”.
‘Last week was very traumatic for me to see that. Your body basically feels everything you feel again, so it’s been a lot and it’s been sad,” she explained.
‘Seeing our fight. It was quite difficult. I actually felt like I was going crazy at the end.’
Despite the on-screen drama, Andrea insisted her feelings for Richard were genuine.
“I never said I didn’t like Richie. I always said, ‘I like you, I’m here, I’m trying’. But of course I withdrew when boundaries were crossed again and again,” she said.

“I just don’t think he was mentally capable of doing that,” she said. “I was actually looking forward to some conflict because everything was going too smoothly and I was like, ‘Okay, let’s figure out how to navigate, tough times,’ and man, they were tough times.”
Although they had their ups and downs on the show, Andrea said the couple has since reached a peaceful understanding.
“We’re good together… I still care about him, and I know he still cares about me,” she explained.
