Married At First Sight star Duncan James has revealed the sweet way he made his relationship with Evelyn Ellis official.
The 38-year-old told me 9Entertainment Tuesday about the “proposal” he made to Evelyn when they became a couple.
‘We were in a restaurant in Manly. “We had gone on a few dates… there weren’t actually many people in the restaurant,” he said.
“I didn’t know you had to officially ask someone, ‘Will you be my partner?’
Duncan then asked the questions and asked Evelyn if she wanted to be his girlfriend.

“It almost felt like a proposal, but I was really just proposing that someone be my girlfriend,” he added.
Duncan and Evelyn have been doing well since announcing their relationship in May last year.
Evelyn confirmed her relationship with fellow MAFS groom Duncan, who was paired with Alyssa Barmonde on the show.

The couple said at the time that it was “exciting” and “liberating” to finally go public after months of rumors.
‘We have a relationship. This is our hard launch,” Evelyn told Nine.com.au.
“It feels good to finally just say it and it feels quite exciting in a strange, liberating way,” the Maxim cover girl added with a laugh.
In August last year, the couple took the next step in their relationship and moved in together.
