Married At First Sight bride Alyssa Barmonde has taken a swipe at her ‘ex-husband’ Duncan James.
The American reality star 35, spoke out on her Instagram Stories after Duncan, 36, discussed her new romance on the TOSSER podcast.
He claimed that fellow groom Josh White had reached out to let him know he and Alyssa were planning to go on a date together.
On the podcast, Duncan, who recently moved in with MAFS’ ‘hottest bride ever’ Evelyn Ellis, said he had wished the potential couple ‘all the best’ ahead of their date.
‘It wouldn’t have stopped anything it was just out of respect, he wasn’t asking me, he was informing me… and I was like, ”bro go for it. Mate, I’m happy for ya,” Duncan recalled.

Addressing his comments, Alyssa wrote on her Instagram Stories, ‘Is it also weird that Duncan threw me and Josh under the bus about going on a date to deflect from the fact neither him nor Evelyn didn’t give me ”respect” to tell me about their relationship and I had to hear from someone else hmmmmm.’
‘Like why even bring it up. When it actually just proved that Josh had enough respect for him (and me) to tell him. But he couldn’t reciprocate.’
She added: ‘I don’t expect any ex of mine to tell me they are moving on with someone else. That would be absurd.’
‘But if it’s with someone in our friend group, who we went through a life-altering experiment with, and whom was supposedly ”rooting for us,” and they had enough ”respect” for Rupes to tell him. Doesn’t make sense to me.’
‘I’m done being silent and hiding away my thoughts and feelings in fear of being trolled and called a ”victim.” So much went on in that expert that was never shown.’

It was reported earlier this year that Alyssa and Josh White were dating, after splitting with their respective partners on the show earlier this year.
Alyssa, a mother-of-one, has also previously hinted at her close bond with Josh.
When asked which groom she would have preferred during a recent Instagram Q&A, she said ‘Josh is the most kind hearted person I have ever met in my entire life. He is one of those people who just calls you to check up on you.’

She continued: ‘We get along really well. He wasn’t on MAFS for very long but we have caught up a few times. Josh knows I got a lot love for him’.
And Josh confessed that if he could turn back time, Alyssa would be his bride of choice for another go at the MAFS experiment.
Fans will recall that Alyssa was originally paired with cyber security sales director Duncan James, while Josh was matched with the vivacious Melissa Sheppard.
The road to love wasn’t smooth sailing for either pair, with Josh and Melissa calling it quits mid-way into the series, while Alyssa was dumped by Duncan at final vows.

‘We are in a relationship. This is [our] hard launch,’ Evelyn told Nine.com.au.
‘It feels good to finally just say it and it feels kind of exhilarating in a weird, freeing way,’ the Maxim cover girl added with a laugh.
