‘Many said my salvation won’t last even a week’ – Size 8 says as she celebrates 12 years in Christ

Gospel singer Linet Munyali widely known as Size 8 is celebrating 12 years since she traded secular life to salvation.

While celebrating her achievement, the ‘Mateke’ hitmaker took to her Instagram account on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, and stated that when she gave her life to Christ at the peak of her career as a secular musician many said that her salvation would not last even a week.

Additionally, the singer stated that many had written her off when she was born again.

“It is now 12 years since I gave my life to Jesus Christ. Many said my salvation wouldn’t last even a week thinking that I was holding my own salvation but they underestimated the power of God that is able to save and sustain us in salvation,” Size 8 stated.

Size 8’s former life

Recounting her previous life as a secular artiste, Size 8 stated that she was the chief of sinners and that God rescued her from the pit of darkness.

“God rescued me from the pit of darkness and saved me by His grace yet I was one of the chief of sinners…..His mercy said no to the death of my spirit and degenerated soul,” she stated

“I am a living proof that God is real, His mercy is real, His grace and power are real……And He is love! Help me celebrate Jesus Christ my saviour. I am born again. Nimeokoka.”
