The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) claims to have cracked the mystery behind the mutilated bodies dumped in Kware.
Speaking to the press on Monday, July 15, 2024, DCI Director Amin Mohamed said 33-year-old self-confessed serial killer Collins Jomaisi Khalisi was behind the macabre murders.
The DCI boss said that Khalisi confessed to having killed 42 women from 2022 to 2024 and dumped their bodies at the quarry.
“On interrogation, the suspect confessed to have lured, killed and disposed 42 female bodies at the dumping site all murdered between 2022 and as recent as Thursday 11th of July 2024,” Amin Mohamed.
He added that the first victim the suspect killed was his wife Emelda Judith Khaleya whom he strangled to death before dismembering her body.
“Unfortunately and this is very sad, the suspect alleged that the first victim was his wife namely Emelda Judith Khaleya whom he strangled to death before dismembering her body and disposing it at the same site,” Mohamed said.
The DCI boss added that Khalisi killed his wife because she twice squandered the money he had given her to start a business.
“What is it that motivated this man do to what he did? He told us that he was married to his first wife in 2022. He started for her a business, she squandered the business, started for her another business she squandered the business and out of bitterness he chopped her into pieces and dumped her at the quarry. But that is subject to further investigations,” Amin Mohamed remarked.
Beautiful women
DCI further disclosed that the suspect had a preference for beautiful women.
“So apparently he is a person full of vengeance and hatred and he had a special predilection for beautiful women, according to what he told us,” he said.
DCI noted that from their interrogations they deduced that all his victims had been murdered in the same style.
Amin Mohamed stated that the suspect’s house and dumping site will remain an active crime scene.
