Manchester United fans fear the worst after Erling Haaland scored five goals as Man City defeated Luton Town 6-2.
The Norwegian striker had scored just three goals in seven appearances since making his comeback from a foot injury that ruled him out for more than a month between December and January.
But he was back to his best as Man City ran riot on Tuesday night.
And Man UCity’s next opponents are at the Etihad on Sunday and fans are concerned having seen his form in front of goal.

Haaland scored a hat-trick against United at the Etihad last season and hit two against Erik Ten Hag’s side in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford.
The striker broke the deadlock in the third minute when he fired in from close range after Kevin De Bruyne’s cut-back from the left flank.
Luton’s Teden Mengi had competed well with Haaland, matching him for strength and power in one-on-one duels, but after 18 minutes the City striker won and doubled his side’s lead.
De Bruyne was the creator again, getting it halfway from Haaland and bringing it back into the Norwegian’s stride. He charged past Mengi and crashed him through Tim Krul’s legs with unerring composure.
His hat-trick almost came when De Bruyne dismissed Haaland and he headed the ball over the advancing keeper.
Then, out of nowhere, Luton brought a roar from the home fans on the stroke of half-time, a brilliant finish that Clark turned into Stefan Ortega’s top corner from 25 yards.

They came at City at the start of the second half with the same ferocity with which the holders had started the match, and they were rewarded in the same way early. Clark was closer to the goal this time, although the angle was devilish.
A shot over the goalkeeper seemed to hit the target, but instead it shot towards the near post and past Ortega, making it 3-2.
It gave Kenilworth Road all three minutes to dream. That was all Haaland needed to score him and his team’s fourth, with De Bruyne again the provider as he netted a simple tap-in.
His fifth was harsh on Krul, a left-foot drive that weaved through the goalkeeper as if cheated by City’s dazzling attack. Haaland had scored five in less than an hour.
Kovacic added his name to the scoresheet, netting one in the 72nd minute to add to Luton’s misery.
At least there was a late reprieve when Haaland was taken off the field in the closing stages. It had been his and City’s night.

And the 23-year-old then restored City’s three-goal lead with his fifth goal in the 58th minute, with Bernardo Silva providing the assist.
Haaland has scored the most goals in an FA Cup match since George Best scored six for Man United against Northampton in 1970.
He also became the first Man City player since 1926 to score five goals in an FA Cup match since FRoberts hit five in an 11-4 thrashing of Crystal Palace almost 100 years ago.
