Mauricio Pochettino is set to take over as Manchester United manager, according to a report.
The Argentine left his role as Chelsea manager on Tuesday evening after just a year in charge, with the club confirming his parting had been by mutual consent.
Fans were divided along the way, with some claiming he was leading the team in the right direction, while others suggesting Chelsea’s early season form was enough to require a change to lead the side forward .
Although he is once again out of work, Pochettino may not be out of the dugout for too long and could take charge of another Premier League team next season.

Ten Hag, who guided United to their worst ever Premier League finish of eighth this season, faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford with a decision to be made soon as to whether he will remain in charge.
It is believed minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is not yet sure whether he wants to make a change after investing a minority stake earlier this year. A decision is expected after Saturday’s FA Cup final against rivals Manchester City.

Pochettino has jumped to the front of the queue in Sky Bet betting and is the next man to take charge at United, ahead of Thomas Tuchel and Gareth Southgate.
