A man has been found dead in the back of a Gold Coast church.
The 45-year-old was discovered at The River Church in Broadbeach at 9am on Thursday.
Emergency services arrived on scene and declared the man dead on arrival.
It is believed he struggled with homelessness.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said officers were investigating the incident.

The death is not considered suspicious.
“Police are at the scene of an incident on Monaco St in Broadbeach,” the spokeswoman said.
‘Around 9 a.m. an unconscious man was found at the back of a business premises.
“Emergency services attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are continuing but it is being treated as a non-suspicious death.”
