Warped Lucy Letby fans have sent Christmas cards to the murdering prison nurse, MailOnline can reveal.
Letby, 33, was sentenced to 14 life sentences in August after being convicted of the murder of seven premature babies and the attempted murder of six others in a gruesome killing spree that shocked the nation.
Her despicable crimes, which included injecting babies with air and overfeeding them milk, took place in the neonatal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital, where she worked between June 2015 and June 2016.
Despite being sentenced to fourteen life sentences, Letby has developed a small following who maintain her innocence on distorted public Facebook groups. They have urged people to send letters ahead of her first Christmas since being locked up for life.
A male member of the 'Nurse Lucy Letby Group' shared a photo of a Christmas card and wrote: 'Christmas for our Lucy will be a very sentimental time. You who care about her might want to send her a Christmas card.
'Unfortunately she is very isolated and a message will let her know that some of us are thinking of her and that she is not forgotten.'

Another Letby fan posted a message of support for the killer, saying: 'People are proud of you and rooting for you'
Another wrote: 'Happy Christmas Lucy. I know this isn't what you want to hear. But people are proud of you and support you. Look forward to.'
Other Letby fans flooded the comments with messages of support, including one who wrote: 'Victim of Britain's worst miscarriage of justice in living memory. May she have a peaceful, blessed Christmas and be released very soon.”
Another member of the group shared a photo of a sealed envelope addressed to Letby. He wrote and circled “friend” in the bottom left corner.
Sick Letby supporters even found photos of the killer posing in front of a Christmas tree and wrote: 'Our Lucy in festive spirit…..Bless her.'
And another said: 'Thinking of you Lucy this Christmas, I'm so sorry for you and your mum and dad.'
Another message read: 'I feel deeply sorry for her and would like to wish her a Happy Christmas and I am proud of her.'
On a separate group dedicated to the killer, called 'Lucy Letby Supportive Group', one man shared a photo of an angel and wrote: 'Cryed myself to sleep again last night thinking about beautiful Lucy locked up in that horrible place .
'Oh please lord, free poor Mrs. Letby and make those evil advisors pay for the lies they told about her!!!! Please keep Lucy in your thoughts this Christmas everyone.”

Letby's fans also urged members to send the former nurse letters before her 34th birthday next month.
One wrote: 'Lucy's birthday is on January 4th. I suggest you send her a birthday card shortly after Boxing Day.'
And another added: 'With Lucy's birthday coming up (January 4) who is thinking of her or planning to send her a card? Who wants to do that, but feels shame and stigma about doing so? Do you think this makes you a 'weird' 'freak' 'baby killer lover' as the mainstream would label you and would like you to feel?
“I would say go with your heart… reaching out to someone in a bad situation is commendable no matter the scenario… it takes guts, courage and daring, what's so weird about that??! '
Last month it emerged that Letby is currently spending her incarceration comfortably in a private prison while receiving 24-hour protection, angering some of her fellow inmates.
The former nurse was recently transferred to the private HMP Bronzefield near Ashford, Surrey, from the notoriously rowdy Low Newton prison in County Durham.
It is said that Letby's treatment infuriates many fellow inmates, who have earned more rights to watch TV, spend their money and have visitors.

A source told The Sun: 'Letby seems as happy as Larry. She is in a nice cell and is alone. The facilities at Bronzefield are much nicer than most prisons because they are privately run.
“She's with prisoners who have earned more rights to watch TV, spend their money and have visitors. It's a shame and it's no wonder she looks so happy. It seems like she is being treated with kid gloves because of who she is.”
A spokesperson for Bronzefield said at the time: 'We cannot comment on individual cases.'
Letby, who is due to face a retrial on one charge of attempted murder next June, was also stripped of her nursing records after a panel ordered her struck off the register at a Nursing and Midwifery Council hearing this month.
The panel ruled she was unfit to practice nursing before issuing the cease and desist order, a move they have heard Letby has not opposed despite maintaining her innocence regarding her convictions.
