Logan Paul’s fight with Dillon Danis descended into chaos after the MMA star tried to take his opponent down with a jiu-jitsu move in the final round of their bout in Manchester on Saturday night.
Security was forced into the ring to separate the two fighters, with Paul’s corner climbing to the canvas to protect their fighter. Dani’s team joined them in the ring as a massive brawl broke out.
Security dragged both fighters to their corners, with a sea of bodyguards between them. Danis was heard shouting in front of me in a ‘jiu-jitsu’ fight as the arena erupted, I foresee a riot.
After things were settled, Michael Buffer announced that Paul had won the match by disqualification. Danis was less than impressed, shaking his head before exiting the ring.
Defeat was not an option for Logan Paul. Not after the emotional turmoil Dillon Danis had caused his fiancee Nina Agdal in the build-up to their long-awaited fight.

You could see the anger and hatred in Paul’s eyes as he made his way to the ring. Violence was the only thing on the 28-year-old’s mind. There was no way he was going to let Danis humiliate him and his partner any further.
So beating the MMA star is exactly what Paul did. It may not have been pretty and it may not have been a textbook performance, but Paul got the job done – ending the contest via disqualification.
Paul was overcome with emotion after the fight, shouting ‘c’mon’ before saying: ‘I forgave Dillon before this fight started. But he called himself a true warrior? What are you talking about? Hey McGregor I took your bitch on a leash and took her for a walk! Who is the real warrior now? If Dillon pays me his entire purse, I’ll do it in MMA.’
He went on to add: “This is a hobby for me. I’m a WWE Superstar. I’m coming back to WWE. I have my eye on something, someone. I’m an American boy. I love that American title. Rey Mysterio I beat you once and I’m coming for that championship. Maybe if Conor McGregor wants to protect his whore, I’ll fight him next year.’
Paul’s clash with Danis was a completely one-sided blow. Danis talked up a good game ahead of their clash on Saturday night, but failed to deliver. He spent more time talking to Paul in the ring than throwing punches.
Meanwhile, Paul looked much more energetic than his previous fights. It was no surprise that the WWE star came flying out of the corner, throwing some lefts and right hands to the body.
There’s no denying that his training for KSI and Floyd Mayweather involved rigorous training, but those fights did more to expose and build his profile. Whereas, this war against Danis had to do with his manhood.
However, it didn’t take long for Logan’s cut from Thursday’s press conference to start crying. That didn’t stop him from throwing a bunch of combinations in the second round.

But Paul’s combinations were giving Dani very little trouble as the WWE star was unable to get his legs and connect effectively. However, he won every round.
After throwing almost no punches, Danis decided to taunt Paul by laying on the ground during the third round of the fight. The referee was forced to signal ‘no knockdown’.
Danis continued to taunt Paul by asking the WWE star to face him in a jiu-jitsu match in the middle of their fight. Paul was visibly irritated and shook his head before following up with a left hook.
It wasn’t long before Danis gave up boxing and turned to jiu-jitsu. Paul was furious and could be seen yelling in the MMA star’s corner as they taunted him from ringside.
But it was in the last round that things turned into chaos. Danis tried to pin Paul to the floor before kicking the WWE star off the floor. Paul then retreated back to his corner before his team climbed the ropes. Danis attacked Paul’s team from the corner and started swinging. As a result, insurance took the canvas.
