Lizzo left the music industry in a state of shock on Friday.
The 35-year-old Juice hitmaker shocked fans when she revealed she had left fame behind because she was ‘tired of being dragged along by everyone’ and being criticized ‘because of the way I look’ in an Instagram announcement.
She wrote, “I’m getting tired of being dragged along by everyone in my life and on the internet.
‘All I want to do is make music and make people happy and help the world become a little better than how I found it.
‘But I’m starting to feel like the world doesn’t want me in it.
‘I constantly have to deal with lies being told about me because of my influence and views… because I’m the butt of the joke every time because of my appearance.
“My character is being taken apart by people who don’t know me and don’t respect my name
