LeBron James and his son Bronny had very different nights on the basketball court on Wednesday.
LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers lost for the ninth time in their last twelve games on Wednesday night when they lost 110-96 to the Miami Heat.
Making matters worse, Miami was without Jimmy Butler for the sixth time in seven games due to irritation in his right foot.
LeBron was held to 12 points on 6-of-18 shooting for Los Angeles, but added nine assists.
Anthony Davis scored 29 points with 17 rebounds and Austin Reaves added 24 points as the Lakers lost their third straight game as they continue to struggle after winning the NBA regular season tournament last month.

Meanwhile, less than three miles through Los Angeles, Bronny’s bright return to the USC team continued as they claimed an 82-74 victory over Cal.
Bronny, who went into cardiac arrest in July, finished with 10 points as USC extended its winning streak over the Golden Bears to 11 games.
That included an outrageous alley-oop dunk when he connected with teammate (and potential No. 1 NBA draft pick) Isaiah Collier.
Collier stole the ball and dribbled down the field, laying down a perfect pass for Bronny to put away as the crowd went wild.
He also made two free throws with 2.7 seconds left to seal the victory.
