Kyle Walker would do ‘everything he can to avoid a very expensive divorce’ from his pregnant wife Annie Kilner.
The 33-year-old footballer shared photos of himself flashing his wedding ring on social media on Monday after attending the Best FIFA Football Awards. In doing so, he made a very public statement that he still considers himself a married man.
Despite his efforts, friends of the Manchester City star are convinced he has been married for two years Annie30, is ‘irreparable’ after discovering he fathered two children with mum blogger Lauryn Goodman, 32.
And while Kyle and Annie are both happy to be parents again – she is said to be expecting his fourth child – friends say they expect an ‘expensive divorce’ for the England star.
A friend told MailOnline: ‘There’s no doubt that Annie is going to assert herself after what Kyle did to her.
‘She has put up with it all for a long time, but now it appears that it is her turn to take charge.

“It’s terrifying to think how much it could cost him, but it’s a mess and it seems like this is the only way forward now.”
Kyle currently earns £180,000 a week as a Manchester City player, but also has lucrative deals as the face of brands including Puma and boohooMan.
It has also been reported that he is worth a whopping £30 million.
Still, those close to Kyle say there is no going back for him and Annie, with whom he has been in a relationship for thirteen years and is now expecting a fourth child.

On Monday evening, the footballer took Roman to The Best FIFA Football Awards in London, where father and son were dressed identically.
Kyle was named in the FIFA Men’s World 11 alongside his Manchester City teammates Erling Haaland, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne.

“She has been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children.
“I would ask for privacy for our entire family, and especially our young children, as we work through these difficult times.”
His words came after Annie announced the split last Wednesday.
She wrote on Instagram: ‘I am posting this in response to increasing recent media questions about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family from the intensity of media attention.

She has since hit out at the decorated footballer in a tell-all interview with The Sun.
She told the publication: “I told Annie I would keep it quiet, but now that’s impossible after what they did, so I have to speak out.
“In his statement he said ‘our’ children, not all ‘my’ children. They put this there. Kyle had the opportunity here to get all his kids involved, but didn’t.
“He doesn’t think about his children, he thinks about himself.”
She added: ‘I don’t blame myself for their break-up – other women have contacted me and said they’ve been with Kyle too.’
